Mendham Man Manages Manhattan With Book of Maps

Thanks to James Schmitt’s lifetime of New York City travelling and touring, he’s got plenty of knowledge stored away to help others navigate the city that never sleeps.

According to dailyrecord.com, Schmitt, of Mendham, has written a book consisting of maps to help the non-native Manhattan visitor get around the city with ease.

After four years of creating the maps, Schmitt has published “Knowing Where You’re Going: New York City, The Ultimate Manhattan Map Guide,” the report said. Schmitt said he’s been making maps with highlighter for friends visiting the city for years, showing the best places to eat, shop, and of course where to find parking and a bathroom.
