'Game of Thrones' Star, Mendham Twp. Native Was a Mullet Man in High School

Before he starred in Game of Thrones, thespian Peter Dinklage was just a kid from Mendham Township who attended high school at Delbarton.

And now, thanks to the quick-moving abilities of the Internet, a high school photo of Dinklage has surfaced that tones down his tough image as Tyrion Lannister in the HBO series.

Thanks to reddit.com, Dinklage’s high school hairdo is now the viral photo of the day, showing his Class of ’87 mullet in its all its glory.

While the ‘do may have been a statement in its own, Dinklage admitted in an interview to Playboy how dramatic he thought his life was 27 years ago.

According to vanityfair.com, Dinklage told the adult publication, “Everything in high school feels like it’s life or death. I went to a pretty athletic high school, and I didn’t have many friends. I remember once talking to my best friend, and we came up with the idea that we should hang ourselves off the bell tower. ‘That’ll show them.’ We totally had no inclination to commit real suicide at all; we just liked the idea of the whole town responding to this tragedy, how the school would mourn. Oh God, we were so dramatic.”
