Chester Asks: Who Built The Best Snowman?

Contest is open until Feb. 16.

Now that the first significant snowfall of the season has blanketed the area in pristine white stuff, the Chester Borough and Township Recreation Departments are challenging those 16 and under to enter their snowman in photo contest on their Facebook page.

According to a release by recreation director Maxine Finney, the "fluffy white stuff" is the perfect medium for the youth of Chester to express their creativity.

According to Finney, the contest open for one week from Feb. 9 until Feb. 16 to all Chester Residents under 16 years of age with judging taking place until Feb. 22.

Those interested can enter by taking a photo of their creation and uploading it to facebook for judging. The photo with the most likes at the end of the competition wins.

For those who do not have a Facebook account, submissions can be e-mailed directly to the recreation director. Finney notes that by entering this contest participants are agreeing to their photo and name being used in the contest.
