Did You See the 'Blood' Moon? Share Your Photos!

First of four eclipses in 2014 came in mid-April.

Stargazers in both North and South America had the opportunity to see the first of four lunar eclipses Monday night into Tuesday morning, and surely there were cameras snapping every second of the astrological phenomenon.

This eclipse, however, gave the moon a shade of red, spurring onlookers to deem it the "blood" moon. Did you stay awake (or wake up early) to catch the eclipse? If you did, we know you've got some photos to share with us. Just send them over to jason.koestenblatt@patch.com and we'll add them to our gallery.

The first three photo submissions are courtesy Stephen Harris of Stephen Harris Photography from Budd Lake. Harris said he snapped the photos at 3 a.m. just as the clouds and rain were coming in.
