Celebration of the Mendhams Tickets on Sale

2013 Mendie tickets are now available to the public.

Tickets are now on sale for the fifth annual Mendies, scheduled for Friday, March 15.  Due to overflow crowds in past years , the event will again be held at St. Joseph's Hall at the Sisters of Christian Charity off Hilltop Road in Mendham.

"We expect a record crowd of this year's event," said Evan "Buzzy" Thomas of the nominating committee. "We urge residents to buy their tickets early."

Advance tickets are available for $35 from members of the Mendham TV Board or at participating sponsors, including Mendham Capital Management, Somerset Hills Bank, the Provident Bank and the Brookside Post Office starting in January. Prices will rise to $50 after March 1 or, if available, at the door.

Last year was a sell out, so interested residents are encouraged to buy their tickets early.

Sponsored by Mendham TV, the Mendies are the annual awards celebration of the Mendhams. They are designed to recognize the best of the Mendhams and bring residents of Mendham Township and Mendham Borough together for a night of local revelry. The Mendies will once again feature a "Red Carpet" walk, a reception, the awards ceremony, a buffet dinner, adult beverages, and dancing at the After Party.
The event includes the induction of the 2013 Hall of Fame class as well as the best of the Mendhams on video, the Chairman's award and the Silent Auction, an opportunity to bid on locally donated gifts and raise money for the station. 

The 2013 Hall of Fame inductees include: - Jerry Dolan, veteran council member and Mayor of Mendham Borough; - Ken Lasch, long-time Pastor at St Joseph's Church; - - - Joan Parish, active volunteer and vocal fan of all sports Mendham; - and the Mentons--Dennis, Linda and her dad Bob Conable--who re-launched the Brookside Community Club and headed up the Brookside 4th of July parade for years comprise this year's class.For more information, go to www.mendhamtv.org
