TEAM LIBERTY MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN NATION-WIDE FLAG SIGNING

Members of Team Liberty gathered today at the headquarters of NJ Sharing Network in New Providence to celebrate the countdown to the 2014 Transplant Games of America in Houston, Texas. NJ Sharing Network is the non-profit organization responsible for the recovery of organs and tissue for the nearly 5,000 New Jerseyans awaiting a life-saving transplant.

Fifteen members of Team Liberty, which is supported by the NJ Sharing Network Foundation, signed the official flag of the Games which will travel across the country for signatures from more than 40 participating teams.

The multi-day competition celebrates organ, cornea and tissue transplantation. The Transplant Games also honors those who gave the gift of life and healing, and motivates people to join their state donor registries. The flag will come back to Houston where it will fly over BBVA Compass Stadium during the Opening Ceremonies of the 2014 Transplant Games of America.
