Somerset Hills YMCA’s International Festival Celebrates Culture and Diversity in the Community

Join us for the Somerset Hills YMCA’s 17th annual International Festival on Sunday, October 14th, 1:00-4:00pm at 140 Mt. Airy Road in Basking Ridge. This festive event brings together community organizations and individuals who represent the diverse people and cultures of the world, as well as of our community.

The event will feature music, dance performances, food and art that represent more than twenty countries. Additionally, there will be samples of international cuisine, clothing, pottery, books and more.

In describing the event, Jennifer Williford, Member Engagement Officer, said, “This event is so much fun. It’s like having a little bit of EPCOT in your backyard!”

International Festival is open to the public.  A donation of $10 per family or $5 per individual is suggested to benefit the Somerset Hills YMCA’s many international efforts. If you are interested in representing a country by hosting a table, please call Jennifer Williford at 908-630-3527. For more information on the event, visit www.somersethillsymca.org.
