What The Heck Should Go Here?
Vacant buildings, overgrown properties and other gems waiting to be redeveloped for the good of the community. We want to know what you think they should be.
It is easy to miss this overgrown piece of property on Route 206 south. It sits just past Chester Lighting and Kurt's Locksmith on the border of Chester Township and Chester Borough.
If you see the vets office, you've gone too far.
This particular plot has a flaking red garage and gravel parking lot adjascent to the main structure that has been scrubbed paintless by time and the elements.
What would you like to see here? What business would fit perfectly on this major thoroughfare? Let us know in the comments below!

Thirty years ago this was an Italian restaurant that was very popular.

@Dale....I would 100% gain 50 MORE pounds if a Wawa went there. But I am not sure could emotionally support their encroachment north. 7-11 and Wawa should stay out of each other's spaces in my opinion.
@Jason...you know, it is so close to YOUR territory I suggest joint office hours. You can sit on the toilet out in the gravel lot. I'll be in the weeds in the front.
@Angelo...see, as far back as I can remember growing up here (I'll be 34 next month) the place has always been empty. My folks told me it was a popular Italian place. Maybe another one should open up there!

It was called "The Little Italian Kitchen" and made the BEST pizza ever. Wish we could still get pizza like that in Chester now!
Now can you imagine trying to get out of that parking lot about 8am any morning?

Well Joan, if it was pizza then you wouldn't be there at 8 a.m., right? Its funny you mentioned good Italian food. Have you voted on our poll on the best Italian cuisine in the area? http://patch.com/A-rgNs
Poll closes tomorrow morning at 9!
