Winter storm Helen has delayed the start of classes two-hours for students in the Chester Consolidated School District, Mendham Borough, Mendham Township and West Morris Regional High School districts, according to their respective administrations.

The wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain that came into the area on Tuesday night has made travel conditions unsafe. 

Classes will begin on a two-hour delay, after the Department of Public Works has had more time to treat and clear the roads.
