The breach in the front room is sealed with ply wood. A series of tarps cover over the vent holes sawed to release the pent up fumes. At the end of the cul-de-sac on Browning Court everything is quiet. All signs of the volunteers who were present the night of the fire, are gone.
The caution tape still rings the yard and authorities have yet to comment on a timeline to release the cause of the fire that swept through the home nine days ago.
So 16 Browning Court sits waiting.
