National Finals Next Stop for Mendham High Junior
Mackenzie Barry places sixth in Northeast regional cross country championship.
Mendham High junior Mackenzie Barry will compete against the nation's top high school runners next month in California.
Barry placed sixth in the Foot Locker Cross Country Championship Northeast Regionals Saturday at Cortlandt Park in Bronx, N.Y.
Barry, who finished with a time of 18:23, earned a spot in the National Finals with her top-10 finish.
The National Finals will be held Dec. 8 in San Diego.
