Good news for Mendham Township residents. At Monday’s Mendham Township Committee meeting Chief Financial Officer Timothy Day presented positive figures as part of the 2012 Second Quarter Finance Report.

The cumulative revenue thus far, as of June 30 is $3,844, 600.55. This is an increase from the Township’s revenue the same time last year; as of June 30,2011 revenue was $3,614,957.27.

“Our overall expenses for June are slightly less than what they were at the same time last year,” said Day.  Expenses for June 2012 were $404,187.

The anticipated budget for this year on the whole is $8,746, 605.78.

Day also noted how the township has had better luck with weather this year, which has saved some money. While Mendham Township will be receiving a FEMA grant to cover some costs of last year’s Hurricane Irene, they have yet to receive the aid.
