They packed the Hanover Marriot dressed in the finest duds that money could buy (or rent).

They gathered in clusters to laugh, photo bomb each other in and out of booths and celebreate that annual event that despite its outdated trappings has never crossed into a cliche.

West Morris Mendham's 2012 Prom, held at the Hanover Marriott, set out to be the social event of the year and by the looks of the guests it was a success. 

The prom this year represented many months of planning by class advisors Shira Brown and Dr. Kristie Prokop with much support from dedicated students and administration. 

So it was fitting that students, members of the faculty and administration were on hand not only to chaperone, but the celebrate.

Students who had the right form signed were allowed to take advantage of early dismissal from school to be ready for the 7:00 p.m. hors d’oeuvres and photo hour.

As is policy for Mendham, students were not allowed to drive themselves to and from the prom and while many had rides from parents and private limo services, the school provided a free luxury coach to and from the prom from the high school.
