The Mendham football team gave the Minutemen cheerleaders something to cheer about as they outlasted the visiting Chatham Cougars and delivered the home crowd a 12-7 victory.

But that was only part of the celebration. The annual celebration at halftime and dance that evening also made for a memorable indian summer day.
