The Chatham Cougars got their noses bloodied in the first half when Mendham came out fast and scored barelty three minutes into the match.

Down at the half, the Cougars exploded for 10 goals in the second half.  Mendham didn't go quietly, and didn't relinquished the lead until the waning seconds of the game when Jaclyn Leto worked the ball inside with just 19 second remaining.

A few heartbeats later, the Minutemen were accepting their second place award before heading off quietly into the night.
