Chester resident Katherine Ann Hopkins completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Art Education last month at Penn State University.

Hopkins graduated on Dec. 22, 2012.

As part of her program, Hopkins recently completed student teaching in Pittsburgh, PA at both the elementary and high school levels. An accomplished artist herself, Hopkins is currently looking for a full time career teaching art and plans to work this summer as a counselor at Meadowbrook Camp.

Meadowbrook is an ACA accredited camp located in Long Valley and offers a variety of programs for children in Nursery School through entering ninth grade.
