Audition Alert: One-Act Plays at Black River
Originally XANADU was slated to be the Chester Theater Group's summer production, however it met with an untimely demise and will not be done this year. They are filling the summer void with varied and entertaining evenings in July.
The Chester Theatre Group will be holding auditions for two one-act plays Monday, June 4 and Wednesday, June 6 at 7:30 p.m. at The Black River Playhouse, Grove and Maple, in Chester, New Jersey. T
he plays will be presented on one weekend only-Friday July 27 and Saturday July 28 at 8 p.m.
The plays will be directed by community theatre veterans Christine Gaden and Noah Stanzione.
The following actors are needed:
Noah Stanzione seeks two males (20s-early 30s).
Christine Gaden seeks three males (20s-40s, one 50s) and two females (20s - 40s).
Sides will be provided at the auditions. Monologs are fine if you have one, but not necessary.
