Column: Aliens, Moon Landings, 9/11 and Obama
Who kidnapped all the moderate Republicans?
None of the Apollo missions really landed on the moon. The footage from NASA was all filmed on a sound stage.
Osama bin Laden did not order the September 11 attacks. It was an inside job, so to speak, and possibly Israelis were involved—Jewish workers were warned to stay out of the World Trade Center that day!
A UFO crashed near Roswell, New Mexico in 1947, and it’s one of hundreds (or more) of alien spacecraft that have been visiting Earth for centuries—extraterrestrials built the pyramids, after all, as well as those Nazca Lines in Peru!
And, of course President Obama is not a citizen of the United States and, thus, should be tossed from the Oval Office immediately!
After all, a Denville man with a Ph.D. wrote the book “Where’s the Birth Certificate?” about it.
Two prominent Morris County politicians—one of them is state Assemblyman Anthony M. Bucco—found some credence in that book.
And the Morris County Republican Committee invited author Jerome Corsi to present his view to several hundred people last week.
Many pronouned this so-called birther movement dead a year ago with the release of the president’s birth certificate. But Corsi and the Maricopa County, Ariz., sheriff say it’s a forgery. And who would be better qualified to investigate the citizenship of the president than the “Cold Case Posse” of a sheriff who is accused of federal civil rights violations, mostly of immigrants, and who forces inmates to wear pink underwear?
Who cares that the actual birth certificate is now online for everyone to see?
Just ignore those who have debunked the birther theories.
That’s what Bucco and Morris County Sheriff Ed Rochford have done.
“The easiest way to put this to rest is to have the records unsealed,” said Rochford, who calls Corsi a friend. “Mr. Corsi made a very convincing argument that President Obama may not be a natural born citizen of the United States.”
He cited several points made by Corsi:
- A Hawaii Health Department spokesperson had said there was no long form birth certificate, and then Obama’s appeared.
- Obama had supposedly been born at Queens Medical Center, but later that was changed to Kapiolani Hospital.
- A social security number allegedly was issued in Connecticut after Obama already had started working.
- Obama lived in Indonesia and attended a school that only an Indonesian citizen could attend and, by the way, why are his school and travel records sealed?
All these points raised “a red flag,” Rochford said. According to the Huffington Post, Bucco said a resolution to the question of Obama’s birth won’t come until “some higher authority is involved.”
The Maricopa sheriff’s citizen party and a Denville author who has made a living writing uber-conservative books surely are authority enough.
Perhaps the truth will finally come out on Tuesday. That’s when, according to the Conservative News and Views website, a New Jersey administrative law judge will conduct a hearing on the challenge by two Jerseyans to Obama’s candidacy. The president is not eligible for the office of president because, according to a statement on that website, “Obama has never shown that he was born in the United States, nor even who he really is.”
I am grateful that there is no citizenship test for journalists as I would, clearly, fail. Allegedly, I was born in Jersey City. But a clerk in the Hudson County vital statistics office admitted to creating false birth certificates for sale to illegal immigrants back in 2005—when Gov. Chris Christie was U.S. Attorney for New Jersey, by the way—so New Jersey won’t accept my HC-issued birth certificate as legal proof of anything. Maybe my birth certificate isn’t legit.
Maybe the Hudson County worker was in cahoots with the clerk in Hawaii?!
Or, more likely, the Obama birth certificate dates back to a plan hatched back in 1961, which foresaw the need to pass off a Kenyan as an American so he could almost 50 years later become president and ruin this great land.
The real mystery I, and many moderate Morris Republicans, would like to see explained is how the radical right hijacked the GOP—the party of Dean Gallo, Leanna Brown, Bob Martin, Carol Murphy, Pat Hylad and, yes, Chris Christie—in one of the wealthiest and most well-educated counties in the nation.
On second thought, that’s not important. After all, the world’s going to end on Dec. 21.

Leanna Brown? Once again, Colleen O'Dea hasn't been paying attention to public facts.
It was former Senator Leanna Brown who pushed lunatic Birther Bill Eames for the Republican nomination for D27 State Senate less than a year ago.

Leanna Brown is leading the charge to turn the GOP over to the lunatic fringe. Get your facts straight, O'Dea.

This has nothing to do with “moderate republicans”. There are very conservative republicans who also think this birther stuff is nonsense. In fact, many republicans can’t stand that members of their own party, like Bucco and Rockford, buy into this stuff because it makes a mockery of their whole party , and delegitimizes all the other conservative talking points.

Off topic, I know, but I have to say: in my nearly 50 years of life, I do not remember the US ever being prosperous for the middle class under a republican. The only time we had any success was under Clinton. What good are the republicans for the middle class? No good as far as I can tell.

What I find amusing is that these yahoos found so much information through the internet and public records about the "conspiracy", whereas the FBI, CIA, State Dept., etc. (with their top secret info) have all been duped. Unless they're in on it too! (heh)

I don't think lack of proof of birth (if true) has anything to do with Obama's qualifications as President of the United States. Clearly, Bucco et al are clutching at straws to further their own gains.

I'm with you Coleen, and I'm tired of being called a RINO by "Republicans" who are about 20 miles to the right of Louis the fifteenth. If you told me this was the result of alien body snatchers, I'd be very tempted to believe it. This used to be the party of thoughtful, hardworking, smart people, where are their voices to shout this balderdash down?

There is nothing that will prove to me that this is not race based. The attacks on Obama began the minute a significant portion of white America realized they were going to have a Black President. I protested the very first Morristown Tea Party event on the Green and I heard what I heard.

Nice try, the man is just as much white as he is black, so get over the Race Card and deal with reality already. A Senator should NEVER be elected to office, because outside of a small office staff, it takes a LOT more skill to run a Nation.

Dan, you are way off on this, it has nothing to do with race, the demcraps want everybody to think thats what its about. I did not vote for him because I knew he could not handle the job and I was proven right. He is a moronic muslim pig thief, and I wouldn't trust him to buy a pack of gum at the corner store with me watching him go. He has lied to us since day one. The birth certificate is a phony, if I could meet you I can show you and prove it, but after this idiot released it the WH later admitted that it was a fraud but they still never released the real one, and why does he have a fraudulent soc. sec. number out of Conn. when he never worked there. Why did he wait for so long to finally release a birth certificate and then later admit it was a phony. This has nothing to do with race and it has nothing to do with President George W. Bush as this idiot has worn that phrase out, it was always somebody elses fault no mine. He never wants to take blame for anything that has happened on his watch. At least admit I screwed up, but I'll make it better, I would have a little more respect for him as a person, I still would vote for him but I would respect him a little bit better, but when you keep saying its always someone elses fault and screwing up and come up with the worst healthcare bill in this countries history. This guy is a total idiot as has no idea what he is doing. When he took office gas was at $1.69 now it about $4.00 and still going higher and he doesn't care.

As far as his healthcare, I don't need someone to tell me when to do anything, him and the democraps are trying to take our freedoms away, not mine, I fought for this country in VietNam twice and I will not be dictated to by an idiot with no military experience and goes around the world giving secrets away and bowing and appoligizing for our troops. He is the worst I have ever seen. Takes vacations worth $4 million dollars and Peloooosi takes one in Hawaii and spends $10,000 dollars of taxpayers money, when did any taxpayer get to take a vacation like that on someone elses dime. The democraps are a joke with this moron, and anyone who backs him, it just shows the mentality of them. I have met many people that said they voted for him but they won't make that mistake again. Sheriff Rochford must not be much of an investigator. Corsi points that he found interesting have all been debunked
•A Hawaii Health Department spokesperson had said there was no long form birth certificate, and then Obama’s appeared.
Simply not true. In fact, two different Directors of Health have said they saw the original and he was born in Hawaii.
•Obama had supposedly been born at Queens Medical Center, but later that was changed to Kapiolani Hospital.
No one except a high school newspaper reporter has ever claimed that he was born at Queens Hospital.
•A social security number allegedly was issued in Connecticut after Obama already had started working.
The SSA's own website says that the "geographic locator" is not reliable.
•Obama lived in Indonesia and attended a school that only an Indonesian citizen could attend and, by the way, why are his school and travel records sealed?
Neither of the schools that President Obama attended in Indonesian required him to be an Indonesian citizen. And by the way, everyone's school records are sealed including Dr. Corsi's.

One needs to look no further than moderate republican John Murphy dropping out of the race for reelection to the County Freeholder Board (and he was also a former republican primary candidate for NJ Governor six years ago as well). Given the significant (broad?) republican support for Hank Lyon, somebody with ZERO experience, it really does appear that the new Morris County republican ideology is scaring off very good moderate republican candidates.

That has more to do with the anti-incumbent sentiment of people who are unhappy with their taxes and the economy, but haven't kept up with local politics enough to understand who is who nevertheless who has sound judgement and who does not. The default reaction is "throw them all out".

the better question is what happened to the democrat party. I grew up in a blue collar neighborhood where all the dads worked hard and took care of their family and didn't need help from the government. now all the democrats care about is having people need the government to take care of them so they get their votes. they don't want to help people better themselves but throw some crumbs at them so they can just survive. i didn't leave the democratic party it left me. the current president is a socialism that hijacked the democrat party.the republican party is not losing its moderates it just seems that way because obama has moved the democrats way way to the left.

Thomas Paine
6:42 pm on Monday, April 9, 2012
One need not look further than the language of class warfare and anti-capitalistic rhetoric used by Obama. This is the classic socialist argument of Bourgeois vs. Proletarians. Read any of his speeches.
* Limiting inheritance. http://on.wsj.com/MX1K
* A progressive income tax - e.g. "spread the wealth around" by funneling more money to the government (to buy votes with entitlements).
* Centralization of credit in the hands of the State (the Fed is key policy arm of the centrally planned economy)
* Civilian national security force (parallel to the military), National Youth Corp, a new Health Corps, Clean Energy Corps, and Veterans Corps.
* Appointment of a pro-union labor relations board, overturning bankruptcy law to favor labor over creditors.
bla bla bla
It's not very helpful to call him a socialist when he's really a globalist and a corporatist. In that way there is very little to distinguish him from G.W. or Romney for that matter.

Is that what the Star Spangle Banner or America the Beautiful is all about? I don't think so. I love this country just as well as anyone who answered our countries call of duty, I didn't run to Canada or try to dodge the draft like Clinton did, I went down and volunteered for duty in VietNam, not once but twice and would have gone back for the third time. And if your thinking I went for the drugs your very wrong, I never touch the stuff in 61 years of my life and will not start now. This jerk is a fraud and if the democraps had any guts, they would admit it themselves. Even Hillary said it when she was running for Pres. She said "He is not a legal citizen. Of course she won't say that today because of the job she holds now. The demcraps have been closing their eyes to everything since this jerk got in and so has the media. You think for one moment that nobody has seen it, they come down on the republicans for every little thing but when the dems did them it was all excused. Its a total cover up. gorefan, looking at your little tidbit about the healthcare law. What happens when someone is layed-off from their job and lost any healthcare they had, and all healthcare has run out, then what happens, they pay a fine or go to jail. Do you think that is fair? There are many people I know that their unemployment benefits have run out, and can't collect anymore and have no insurance, thats fair, get real dude. The government doesn't take these people in to concideration when they figure up jobs created numbers, they feel they aren't collecting from unemployment then they must have gone back to work, so they don't count. Why don't you fugure these people in your numbers and tell your buddy Odumbo{Osama} to count those people too, then you'll get the real unemployment numbers and how many jobs were created for real. It'll be about 18% unemployment not 8.3%. Besides all the jobs he has created are working for his stupid wife. She has more people running her so called busy life than a small company has empoyees. The healthcare bill is a big joke and designed to protect the insurance companies and make them money, like AARP was paid $1 million dollars for their endorsement of that thing, and now they are losing a lot of members because of it. How about the little clause they had in there , that many millions went to support a democraps campaign out in Oklahoma I think. What did that have to do with healthcare?
